A free legal information fair for everyday people.
Lawcademy is a free, half-day legal information fair where everyday people can learn more about their legal rights. We want to empower citizens in the South Bend, Indiana community to own their democracy.
We make law make sense. While we won't provide individual legal advice, we can help you better understand the legal issues you face, decide when you need legal advice, and help you find it.
2022 Session Topics
The focus of the event will be three blocks of multiple breakout sessions. Each session will cover a common legal topic or issue, and you can choose the sessions you like. Topics have been chosen for their relevance to members of the South Bend community -- and with your input!

We'll be filling up the St Joe Public Library's new Community Learning Center, right in the heart of Downtown!
The opening session will be in the new CLC auditorium, while breakout sessions will be in the CLC classrooms on the second floor.
Session seating is limited, so please RSVP early (beginning October 8) for the sessions of your choice.
